6 Day Workshops for Mental Health Awareness Week
Join PIPS Hope & Support and local service providers for a week of workshops leading up to World Mental Health Day based on the 5 steps to wellbeing.
Each day, from 10:00am - 10:45am, PIPS Hope and Support will deliver a workshop with the do's and don'ts' and guests who will share their advice, experience and discuss how their own organisations can support you.
Monday 5th October - Connect - Workshop with local service providers from the voluntary & community sectors to connect about their services & support
Tuesday 6th October - Be Active - Workshop based on chair aerobics with a range of exercises suitable for all ages and abilities
Wednesday 7th October - Take Notice - Workshop based on journaling and gratitude diary - to focus on the positive things in your life
Thursday 8th October - Keep Learning - Workshop with a local citizen to discuss and share their experience to ‘adapting to change’
Friday 9th October - Give - Workshop on volunteering,discussion with Volunteer Now and PIPS Hope & Support to highlight the need & benefits
Saturday 10th October - World Mental Health Day - Workshop on yoga to support the mental and physical wellbeing of the body
