ASSOCIATE COUNSELLORS (NEWRY & LURGAN)
Due to our expanding workload PIPS Hope & Support Counselling Service is seeking expressions of interest from qualified counsellors for our Associate Counselling department.
We are a team of psychotherapists and counsellors who work together offering professional crisis and suicide bereaved counselling support.
We are recruiting the following counsellors; Associate Adult Counsellors, Associate Play Therapists, Associate Art Therapists and Associate Children & Young People's Counsellors.
The successful applicant MUST have experience in a mental health setting and in delivering evidence base psychological interventions and will be working with suicide bereaved individuals or individuals presenting with a range of mental health problems and provide time limited, evidence based treatment interventions to facilitate positive change for clients.
You must have a Counselling Diploma/Degree level and registration with appropriate governing body, successful applicants must complete an Access NI check and attend mandatory training, therefore gaining additional knowledge to enable successful candidates to work in this type of community setting.
