Martin Connell is the part-time training and community development officer with PIPS Hope and Support. Commencing his employment in November 2019, his background is in health promotion whereby he completed a post graduate diploma at the University of Ulster. Since graduating, Martin has worked in various roles over the last 15 years within the statutory, youth and community sectors before taking on the role within PIPS Hope and Support.
Martins main interests outside of work with is in sport, heavily involved with the Respect Project in Newry, Martin uses sport as a way of engaging with young people to help them learn to respect themselves, their sport and their community.
