This evening, the organising committee of Run for Raff invited PIPS Hope and Support along to the Railway Bar, Poyntzpass. The evening was organised to present the proceeds raised at the 6th Run for Raff in memory of the late Adrian Rafferty held in December 2019. On Sunday 13th September, PIPS Hope and Support hosted a trek up Slieve Donard and was facilitated by the fantastic Mid - Ulster Mountaineers to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. Our walkers set off shortly after 9:00 am and were eager to get to the top. A great achievement it was for them all, especially when the wind was against us and those who were new to mountain treks. On Friday 4th September, PIPS Hope and Supports’s very own employee, Olivia McMullan presented the fantastic proceeds raised from her recent fundraising initiative. During the lockdown period, Olivia took part in the 2.6 challenge, challenging herself to lose 26 pounds in 12 weeks. In return, Olivia’s family and friends donated to her efforts. PIPS Hope and Support were delighted to welcome young Tom Smyth and his dad Damian and sister Anna to the PIPS Hope and Support Office on Thursday 27th August, 2020. Tom, a P7 student from St. Pauls Primary School, Cabra and talented musician hosted an afternoon of music over the christmas period in 2019 at the Milestone Rathfriland in return for donations to our charity.
