Annual Remembrance Collection in Camlough on Christmas Eve 2020 in Honour of Stephen and John Farrell
On Christmas Eve 2020, Sean and Brian Farrell, supported by many of their family members, friends and neighbours and despite the cold wintery day, raised an remarkable £8,538.01
The funds will go directly towards supporting PIPS Hope and Support and the vital crisis, self-harm, trauma and bereavement counselling and support services we provide.
A well-established and supported annual event, the combined total collected over the 8 years has amounted to a massive £44,246.22
Sean and Brian, on behalf of the Farrell family, thanked everyone who collected on the day and raised funds in other ways to support their fundraising. They offered a special thanks to the commuters and others who contributed so generously and to everyone who supported them in any way.
PIPS Hope and Support wish to thank Sean and Brian for the continued support. It is always heart-warming to see the successfulness of the Farrell family traditional street collections and the generosity that is displayed which has made a huge difference to the lives of families and individuals who are mentally or emotionally distressed and in need of meaningful support, helping to save lives from suicide. The cold weather has never deterred the Farrell family and we would like to also thank the Farrell’s friends and all the collectors as well as each and every one of you who supported the family; your efforts are very much appreciated.
