We believe that suicide is everyone’s business. No one should have to face suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, or grief after suicide alone. Our Crisis Intervention Services provide immediate, compassionate, and non-judgmental support to those in crisis, as well as to individuals and families bereaved by suicide.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available—we are here to listen, support, and guide you through this difficult time.

Signposting / Linking
If other services have been identified as a need we endeavour to not just signpost but to also link families and individuals to the relevant service provider using the multiagency approach of the Protect Life Suicide Strategy for Northern Ireland.
Information / education awareness
we are committed to raising awareness of suicide prevention and self-harm intervention through education, training, and community outreach. By equipping individuals, professionals, and communities with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to those in distress, we can work together to save lives. Our training is available to schools, youth clubs, businesses, statutory and voluntary organisations, first responders, and community groups — ensuring that everyone has access to the knowledge needed to support those at risk. By providing education and training, PIPS Hope and Support empowers individuals and organisations to make a real difference in preventing suicide and supporting those in crisis.
Raise Awareness
At PIPS Hope and Support, we are dedicated to suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and promoting mental health awareness. We actively encourage help-seeking behaviours by educating individuals, families, and communities on the realities of suicide and self-harm, breaking down stigma, and providing accessible resources for those in need.
Our work extends beyond direct crisis support—we engage in awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and public events to ensure that no one feels alone in their struggles.
We are part-funded by the Public Health Agency NI, as a Protect Life Resource Centre under the auspices of the Protect Life (A Shared Vision) Suicide prevention Strategy for Northern Ireland and have numerous resources available in our premises including booklets ranging from Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic, Sleep Problems, Trauma, Anxiety, and many more.
