Apple Tarts Were Boo-tifully Delicious and Helped Raise £1,600.00 for PIPS Hope and Support!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Fiona, Siobhan, Patrina, Joanne, Alison, Linda, and Jodie, also known as The Tartettes, for their incredibly generous donation of £1,600.00 to support our services.
Fiona, with her determination to make a difference, decided to lend her support to PIPS Hope and Support and Triple A, an Armagh-based day center for individuals with Autism and learning disabilities. Through her remarkable efforts, she managed to raise an astounding total of £2,400.00.
With the support of her family and friends, the ladies embarked on a baking extravaganza, crafting over 160 fabulous homemade apple tarts by hand in just two days. These mouthwatering treats were in such high demand that orders poured in from Portaferry, Leitrim, and County Down, with many customers returning for seconds.
Our staff were overjoyed to have the opportunity to savor one of these scrumptious tarts, which, unsurprisingly, disappeared in the blink of an eye as soon as the kettle was put on.
Our congratulations to Fiona and The Tartettes for their outstanding achievement, and once again, we express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and generosity they have shown.
