Bailies Woods a Peaceful Setting For Hope and Relfection
We had the honour of recently meeting up again with Tania, Martin, and Aoife Bailie, accompanied by their adorable grandson Sé Maguire, at the peaceful Bailies Woods.
Established in 2022, Bailies Woods was developed in memory of their cherished son and brother, Daniel, serving as a sanctuary for hope and reflection.
In a heartwarming gesture, family and friends were invited to purchase a tree in remembrance of Daniel and their own loved ones, with the proceeds benefiting PIPS Hope and Support. Through this initiative, an astounding £1,700.00 was raised, a testament to the generosity and compassion of all involved.
The Bailie family would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making Bailies Woods such a remarkable place. A special mention goes to their neighbour Charlie, whose teleporter played a crucial role in the creation of this beutiful landmark. Additionally, they extend their thanks to the small woodland grant scheme and Kilkeel Garden Centre for their invaluable support.
PIPS Hope and Support would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Bailies for their unwavering support and to all those who have rallied behind this heartening initiative. Your support is truly appreciated.
