Building Personal Resilience: Workshop at St Mary’s High School, Newry
As part of their Personal Development Programme, Year 11 students at St Mary’s High School, Newry, recently participated in an interactive workshop on Building Personal Resilience, delivered by PIPS Hope and Support.
Developing Essential Life Skills
The session focused on key qualities that help individuals cope with challenges and build emotional strength, including:
- Positive relationships and their role in support networks
- A sense of purpose to foster motivation and resilience
- Mindfulness techniques for managing stress and staying present
- Self-awareness to understand emotions and reactions
- Self-care strategies to promote mental and physical well-being
- Stress management tools to navigate difficult situations effectively
