Edel Keenan

Edel joined the PIPS Hope and Support team in May 2023, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for community well-being, as the PA to the CEO and our HR Administrator. 

Edel graduated from DIT in 2000 with a degree in Business and IT. She has since utilized her qualifications in various roles, spending nearly a decade working for the NHS and Public Health England in London. After 20 years living in New York and London, she returned to Ireland in 2016.

Edel was thrilled to join PIPS, driven by her commitment to enhancing mental well-being in the local community. Her dedication is reflected in her volunteer work with organizations such as Contact the Elderly in London and Home Start.

In her spare time, Edel is a busy mum to twins and actively helps run a local online mums group, Newry Mums, which provides advice and tips on all things mum-related. She loves traveling, staying fit, and has recently joined a hiking group, exploring local mountains including the Mournes.
