Farrell Family Flag Day raises £6644.50
WOW!! THANK YOU
On Christmas Eve 2019, Sean and Brian Farrell, supported by many of their family members, friends and neighbours and despite the conditions on the day, raised an amazing £6644.50.
The funds will go directly towards supporting PIPS Hope and Support and the vital crisis, self-harm, trauma and bereavement counselling and support services we provide.
Well established now as an annual event, the combined total collected over the 7 years has amounted to £35,708.21
Sean and Brian, on behalf of the Farrell family, thanked everyone who collected on the day and raised funds in other ways to support their fundraising.
They offered a special thanks to Louise from Beauty By KLF Warrenpoint and to the commuters and others who contributed so generously and to everyone who supported them in any way.
Seamus McCabe, CEO, PIPS Hope and Support, said, “It is always heart-warming to see the successfulness of the Farrell family traditional street collections and the generosity that is displayed.
“This makes a huge difference to the lives of families and individuals who are mentally or emotionally distressed and in need of meaningful support.
“It all goes towards helping to save lives from suicide.
“The fact that Christmas Eve is normally a cold, drizzly day has never been a deterrent to the Farrell family and I want to once again say thank you to Sean and Brian and all of their family, friends and all the collectors and to each and every one of you who supported the family; your efforts are very much appreciated.”
