Farrell Family's Annual Camlough Christmas Eve Collection Raises an Incredible £11,396.17 for PIPS Hope and Support
The Farrell family’s Annual Camlough Christmas Eve Collection, held in memory of John and Stephen Farrell, has once again proven to be a remarkable success, raising an extraordinary £11,396.17 for PIPS Hope and Support. This year’s contribution brings the total raised by the family over the years to an outstanding £79,866.25.
A special highlight of this year’s collection was the inclusion of a generous raffle organised by Camlough ABC, whose kindness and dedication contributed to the success of this fundraising effort. PIPS Hope and Support extends heartfelt thanks to Camlough ABC for their hard work and generosity in supporting this meaningful cause.
Sean Farrell, speaking on behalf of the Farrell family, shared his gratitude:
"We are incredibly thankful to our friends, family members, neighbours, and everyone who helped make this year’s collection another success. A special thanks to the commuters and donors who gave so generously, as well as those who volunteered their time to support our efforts. Your kindness helps us keep John and Stephen’s memory alive while making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
Seamus McCabe, CEO of PIPS Hope and Support, also expressed his appreciation:
"On behalf of everyone at PIPS Hope and Support, I want to extend our deepest thanks to Sean, the Farrell family, and their incredible team of volunteers. The dedication and generosity displayed by the Farrell family and the wider community is truly inspiring. What makes this initiative even more remarkable is the long-standing commitment of many volunteers, who return year after year to support this meaningful cause. Their loyalty and devotion to the Farrell family and our charity demonstrate the very best of community spirit. This enduring support has a profound impact on individuals and families experiencing emotional distress, ensuring they receive the vital help they need. We are deeply moved and forever grateful for all they do.”
The funds raised will go directly towards PIPS Hope and Support’s services, which provide critical assistance to individuals and families in need and offer hope in times of emotional distress.
PIPS Hope and Support would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this year’s collection and over the years, ensured this tradition continues to bring both remembrance and hope to the community.
