Gala Ball to Mark PIPS Hope and Support's 20th Anniversary
PIPS Hope and Support will acknowledge its 20th anniversary in style later this year with a spectacular Gala Ball in the Canal Court Hotel & Spa in Newry.
Our charity has grown steadily over the last two decades and now offers a range of vital community services, including crisis counselling, bereavement support, suicide awareness training and education workshops.
To acknowledge our 20-year landmark, a huge Gala Ball will take place on Friday, September 15th in Newry’s Canal Court Hotel along with live music, auction, and raffle.
Speaking ahead of the Gala Ball, CEO Seamus McCabe said he is immensely proud that the charity has been serving the community for two decades.
Seamus said: “It’s going to be a huge event. To reach 20 years is remarkable. There has been a lot of work, time, and effort over those 20 years to get where we are today – it has been a real team effort. Much work has been done, but there’s so much more to do.
“It’s a fantastic achievement to get where we are today and we are incredibly proud and excited about the Gala Ball to acknowledge this achievement and would love to see friends and supporters of PIPS Hope and Support, who have been invaluable to the charity over the last 20 years, join us in this acknowledgement.”
Guests will be greeted with a drink’s reception in the hotel foyer with Harpist Bláithín O'Sullivan providing the music.
A raffle and auction will take place on the night with a host of fantastic prizes up for grabs.
The entertaining May McFettridge is on MC duties, while live music will be provided by the fantastic The Just Adam Band.
The event is kindly sponsored and supported by Alternative Heat Ltd
Mary Adamson, HR Manager of Alternative Heat said the firm is delighted to sponsor the Gala Ball recognising the work that PIPS Hope and Support do within the community.
Speaking at the launch, Mary said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to support PIPS Hope and Support as it acknowledges its 20th anniversary.
