Redrock Purple Star Heroes LOL 788 Raise an Incredible £14,000 for PIPS Hope & Support
On Saturday, Redrock Purple Star Heroes LOL 788 held their third annual Charity Christmas Tractor Run and it was truly a remarkable and moving day for everyone involved.
This year, the lodge chose to support PIPS Hope and Support, recognising the vital work we do in supporting
those bereaved by suicide. The charity was selected in memory of Kyle, whose loss just over a year ago is still deeply felt. While Kyle was not a member of the lodge, he had many close friends within the lodge itself, the lodge band, and across the wider community. The entire day was dedicated to his memory, making the event especially meaningful.
Following the tractor run, supporters came together for a raffle, which was then followed by an auction later that evening. Thanks to the generosity, compassion and community spirit shown throughout the day, the provisional total raised currently stands at an astounding £14,000, with further funds still to be collected.
This incredible contribution will make a real difference, helping PIPS Hope & Support continue to provide free crisis support, counselling and suicide prevention services to individuals and families across our communities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Redrock Purple Star Heroes LOL 788 and to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered or supported the event in any way. Your kindness is a powerful reminder of the strength of community and the importance of standing together in hope and remembrance.
For anyone who would still like to contribute before the lodge formally closes the fundraising later this week, please contact Kyle Black, Keith Woods, Quincey Dougan or any other member of LOL 788.
Thank you for helping us ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
