Rountree Family Raises £6,770 in Memory of Kyle Rountree
PIPS Hope and Support is deeply honoured and sincerely grateful to the Rountree family for their incredible generosity in memory of their beloved Kyle Rountree — a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin.
Through a touching coffee morning held at Corkley Orange Hall and an accompanying online giving page, the family raised a phenomenal total of £6,770. The event was a powerful tribute to Kyle and a testament to the deep love and support of the local community.
Kyle’s cousin Christine shared:
"The coffee morning was held in Corkley Orange Hall just outside Keady. I sat with Christine and Derrick, Kyle’s mum and dad, to discuss the idea of hosting the event and setting up a GoFundMe page for those who couldn't attend but still wanted to support PIPS Hope and Support in Kyle’s memory."
"The response was overwhelming. People queued out the door waiting for a table, and hundreds came through to show their support. The combined efforts of the coffee morning, online page, and additional donations raised an incredible £6,770. The Rountree family have received so much from this charity, and this donation is a heartfelt way of giving back."
Christine also extended thanks to Corkley Orange Hall for use of the venue, The Village Bakery Markethill, Johnstons Bakery Armagh, McGranes Keady (Dermot and Tom), Mullans of Markethill, Brian Patterson and Lakeland Dairies, and all family, friends, and volunteers who helped make the event possible — as well as everyone who attended and donated.
From everyone at PIPS Hope and Support, thank you. Your compassion and generosity mean more than words can express. We continue to hold the Rountree family in our thoughts, and we are honoured to have been part of this meaningful tribute to Kyle’s memory.
