Shea McCartney
Shea joined PIPS Hope and Support as a counsellor in September 2023. Prior to this role, Shea earned a degree in Sociology and Psychology, followed by a Level 4 Certificate in Counselling. He furthered his education by obtaining a Masters in Counselling and gained valuable experience working with Betterhelp and running his own private practice.
Before transitioning into counselling, Shea had a background in healthcare and dedicated his time to various charities such as WAVE Trauma Centre and the NSPCC.
In his leisure time, Shea is an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly enjoying watching football and MMA. Additionally, he finds joy in traveling and exploring different parts of the world.
