St. Mark’s High School’s Team Kenya’s Massive £24,000 to Local Charities

A huge thank you to The Kenya Team from St. Mark's High School Warrenpoint for their amazing donation of £3,000 to our charity. 

The latest Kenya Team were due to begin the journey to Kenya in July 2022. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this is no longer feasible. A decision was made to donate the full amount raised over the past year, a massive £24,000, to local charities that the team hold tight to their hearts and that they have links with.

The £3,000 donated to PIPS Hope and Support is marked towards the target of The Bailie Families ‘Camino De Santiago Walk 2022’ in memory of Daniel Bailie. Martin Bailie is pictured receiving the donation. 

Well done to the students and team leaders for assisting ourselves and so many other local charities. These young people are a credit to their families, school and the wider community.
